【講座提要】

本講座的內容是演講人待刊書稿《中古道教儀式研究》之導論。五世紀以降形成的受道法位與中古道教儀式的分類有密切的關係。一方面，根據各個法位規定的道士所受儀典名目可以判斷，中古時代最重要而且比較流行的基本儀式類型有五種，即朝儀、傳授儀、齋儀、醮儀、章儀。另一方面，從古靈寶經開始，道教儀式又逐漸按法位區分等級。講座將簡略討論五種基本道教儀式類型的淵源、形成和發展，揭示南北朝以來諸法位的各類儀式都仿效靈寶齋儀的演變趨向。

This talk is mainly based on the introduction of the lecturer’s book manuscript A Study of Medieval Daoist Ritual. The classification of rituals in medieval Daoism is closely related to the Daoist ordination system being formed since the fifth century. On the one hand, according to the ritual texts a Daoist of a certain rank receives, medieval Daoist ritual can be categorized into five basic types, namely the audience ritual, the transmission ritual, the fast ritual, the offering ritual, and the petition ritual. In medieval times they were the commonest and the most important ritual types. On the other hand, beginning with the ancient Lingbao scriptures, Daoist rituals were distinguished by ordination ranks and integrated into a corresponding hierarchy, namely, from lower to higher grades, the rituals of the Zhengyi, the Five Thousand Characters (= Daode or Taixuan), the Sanhuang (or Dongshen), the Lingbao (or Dongxuan), and the Shangqing (or Dongzhen). This talk will also outline the origin, formation and evolution of the basic ritual types, revealing that one basic trend in the development of Daoist ritual from the fifth century on was the adaptation and compilation of the Lingbao fast texts for various ordination ranks.
